Davis/Hastings vs UCLA/USC Forum

For job prospects in Northern California would one be best served matriculating at a Northern California school such as UC Davis/Hastings or at a Southern California school with a slightly more prestige like UCLA/USC?

My anecdotal sense is that UCLA does better in NorCal because USC's alumni network isn't as strong up here, but they're both good choices. I took Davis over USC, but if they were both at sticker it would have been hard to make the same choice. Long story short, unless you get some money, go to UCLA/USC.
