Residential rulings?

Post by shaynislegend » Sun Jul 24, 2011 1:00 am

First time posting on these TLS forums, but enjoy the read.
I recently got engaged a few months ago, my fiancé and I are finishing our final undergrad year. I am taking the LSAT in October and applying soon after. One of the schools I have been looking into is Georgia State, because of the low tuition rate and the schools overall value. My fiancé is from Georgia and I am not, I was wondering if anyone knew the limitations or process of becoming a resident of a certain state, in this case Georgia. The out of state rate is nearly three times as expensive as a residential rate. Is it something that can be easily done, or are schools and states pretty strict?

P.S. We will be married before I enroll, if accepted.

Any information is appreciated!
