University of Florida (0) vs Penn State ($$) Forum

I was wait listed at UF, and got the call today that I was in. I won't get any scholarship money, where I do have some at Penn St (where I have been planning on attending). Advice?

In state at UF? Stipulations on your PSU scholarship? Do you want to work in PA or FL?

UF will be out of state. Scholarships stipulation is the top 1/3 of my class at Penn St. As far as where I want to work....I don't really know. I'm from Mississippi so the south is a little more familiar. I have it figured that it will cost me almost 40,000 more in student loans to attend UF. I guess my question is, not taking location into consideration, is the 40,000 trade-off worth it?

Neither choice is great, but I'd pick UF if I was in your shoes. The trade-off isn't really 40,000, because you'll probably lose your scholarship anyway.
