Depends on what you want to do after graduation and where you would like to live. If money is the biggest factor then St. John's would be the choice but I would imagine that Illinois will leave you with much better employment options.

You really need to visit Illinois before making your decision. New York and Champaign are very different areas and Champaign is two hours away from Chicago, which is the nearest major city to Champaign.

If you want NY, then St. Johns at full scholarship with little stipulation isn't the worst option. If you want mid-West, then Illinois isn't too bad, either. Go to the one where you want to end up--St. John's for Northeast, Illinois for mid-West.

Definitely. And to follow TLS wisdom, all schools after the T14 are regional schools.

All schools are regional schools to varying degrees.
