Also, tuition at Johns Hopkins UG is $42k per year. Factor in COL and you're looking at $200k+ for a bachelor's degree. Jesus christ.

It's satire. Not particularly good, but not douchy either.

Stuff like this makes me worry about my future classmates. That was painful to watch.

I met the kid at michigan's preview weekend, and you are not going to believe this, but he is not very self aware. He means well though, and I hope he didn't just irreparably harm his social life for the indefinite future.
Also, I would caution people against assuming that everyone going to law school will be paying for it on their own. If only we could all be so lucky.

These are so frustrating. Just state the school and get it over with.

As a lifelong Cleveland sports fan who had their heart ripped out by "The Decision", I feel like this kid is mocking my misery. There's not much that we Cleveland fans can take pride in, so we own our heartbreak. Don't you dare demean the last thing we have left.

Re: "The Decision"
Hey y'all,
I was the maker of the video (but was not the person who deleted it). I figured it wouldn't get more than a couple dozen views cause it was so long and customized, so definitely surprised that it made Above The Law and TLS. It was meant to be a "Thank you, thank you" bit to the people I would normally thank with short FB messages or letters, but obviously posting it publicly on youtube made it bigger than I intended.
I give a lot of people's whole names on the video, so I'm assuming that's why it was taken down. Next time I guess I'll go private.
Anyway, good luck to everyone with law school.

Good luck to you as well. I applaud you for taking a more holistic (lol) approach to choosing your law school than most.

Re: "The Decision"
I am fairly certain that YouTube wouldn't make the video private because of full names, only the owner can. If you are indeed the owner, then I see why you would make it private. Best of luck next year at UMich!Duce wrote:Hey y'all,

LOL there goes the myth of the "dinner party" acceptance methodology at Umich.

Re: "The Decision"
As a Philly sports fan, I would NEVER purposely mock a city with a history of sports misery. The video was to mock LeBron (who is about to end my team's season), not Cleveland. The Gentleman wrote:As a lifelong Cleveland sports fan who had their heart ripped out by "The Decision", I feel like this kid is mocking my misery. @Hannibal: Yeah, "holistic", that's what we'll call it. Sounds much better than awkward and oblivious.
@The Stig: I didn't make the video private, so I must have done something to provoke the YouTube gods.
