UVa vs. UT-Austin w/ $$?? Would love to hear some opinions! Forum

Hi Friends,

So I have been agonizing over this decision for a while now, and have finally gotten it down to UVa and UT in Austin.
A little background: I'm graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill in May (so I've done the small college town thing) and am from the South, though I have no idea what I want to do or where I want to end up after law school (not necessarily gunning for a BigLaw job at this point nor do I want to stay in Texas but nothing has been ruled out yet).

I've got a scholarship at UT and absolutely love Austin and am very sure I would prefer to live there for three years over Charlottesville. However, I know I would be just fine living in Virginia if I decided the national reach/reputation and job opportunities coming out of UVa outweigh going to UT (I've got family in Austin too which is nice but not a huge factor).
I'm obviously going to work hard and try to do well wherever I go, but I don't want to be in a situation where if I'm not in the top 10% of my class I'm going to find it very difficult to find a job anywhere.

Anyway any thoughts people have on this will be much appreciated!
