UCLA or Lewis & Clark
Trying to decide between UCLA and Lewis & Clark. I am from Oregon and want to return to the pacific nw to practice. I'm interested in environmental and land use law which Lewis & Clark specializes in, but UCLA has a better ranking.
Which should I choose?

UCLA.
Even if you strike out with finding a job in Oregon, you'll be in a much better position to at least find SOME job in LA.

Seriously people? No one has to decide between UCLA and Lewis & Clark. I call flame, and a pretty obvious one at that.

Yes, Lewis & Clark is offering a very generous aid package, and UCLA is pretty minimal- like $18,000/year difference not including the fact that Lewis & Clark's tuition is much lower and the cost of living in Portland is significantly lower than LA

Even if UW, the obvious choice is UCLA I think.

UCLA, unless compelling reason to stay in Portland during law school IMO. Though actually you might want to research UCLA placement into Portland- if it isn't stronger than L & C in Portland, and you are sure you want to live/stay in Portland after law school, then L & C might not be a bad idea in that case as well. But otherwise UCLA, even with a considerable financial differential IMO.
