Well, I happen to know a white guy that currently attends Yale after being waitlisted. He had a 168. So... let's not make huge assumptions about OP receiving a boost. Maybe he had a killer app.

I was academically accomplished at my run-of-the-mill liberal arts school [80-pg senior thesis in Spanish, probably strong LORs, Phi Beta Kappa...] but isn't everyone who applies to HYS? I feel no more special than anyone else, if anything, I'm certain I'm underqualified.

Also, is that what 'softs' are? Your accomplishments outside of the GPA/LSAT breakdown?

Okay, seriously, what more do you need than a WL at Yale with a 167 LSAT?

OP needs to blanket the T14 next cycle and do it early. It's obvious that at least some schools will regard him/her as URM.

I haven't heard back from nyu nor Columbia yet. Seems safe to say I'm rejected?
