THE ARMEGGEDON of Deathmatchs
IUB with 120k vs. UGA with instate tuition all 3 years.
Total COA- IUB around 65k including tuition increases
UGA around 100k including tuition increases
So my cycle has nearly come to a close and I am just waiting on a few schools. However, as seat deposit deadlines are nearing, I wanted to throw out a couple choices out there to see what you guys think! Here is some supplemental info:
- Geographic Preference: Does not matter; I am not partial to any particular region. My main priority to just to go the best school (debt vs. employment prospects)
- Job preference: At the moment, will probably like to work Big Law or Mid-law.
- Debt load: I am not entirely debt-averse but obviously I would like to keep my debt down while not hampering my employment prospects too much
As always, please post your thoughts - thank you!

Re: THE ARMEGGEDON of Deathmatchs
Epic thread title...
I'd say IUB. They are both good, but regional, schools with better schools nearby to compete with.
My advice: check to see which school does better job-placement wise in their respective regions. So if it turns out UGA does better than IUB, then go there instead. And visit the schools for goodness sake!
Assuming all things being equal, though, go for the lower debt.

Lower debt, slightly better school... IUB, though it pains me to say, because I'm still hoping for one of those full rides to still be available

Same exact choice as you and chose UGA because I didnt want to live in the midwest and UGA from what I've seen places better than IUb. Plus Athens > Bloomington. Atlanta blows Indianapolis away, in terms of the schools #1 destination for grads.
