I Need Help - Illinois $$$, Vandy $, Cornell?, Duke ? Forum

The first acceptance I got was at Illinois with a $40k/yr scholly. Didn't hear anything from other schools for weeks so I stopped expecting great news and paid my first seat deposit. In the past week, Vandy has come through with a $20k/yr scholly, got a Cornell admit (no scholly details yet) and a also a Duke admit (don't think I'll be getting any money tho). And oh, got WLed at Chicago.
I have to say I'm seriously considering taking Vandy.
I really don't have any regional preference. Just want to be able to get a good firm job after LS with minimal debt.
Any advice?

Why did you pay the seat deposit already? My vote honestly would be Vandy comparable COL to UC and more prestige thats my two cents

I am pro-Vandy on this board all the time, but hold out to see what Cornell offers.

Cornell, GULC, and Vandy are about equal in terms of student quality... in anyone's higher, it's arguably GULC. This makes me think you'll get a comparable scholarship offer at Cornell, which I think I'd take (though God, Ithaca over Nashville is rough).

As presented though, Vandy by a comfortable margin.
