No regional preference. I'm interested in pursuing public interest/government work.
COA at each school would be roughly as follows:
BU $140k
Minn $120k
WM $105k
Just curious to see what the TLS wisdom says.
TIA

W&M places a large portion of its class in PI/gov work, and it's your cheapest option, so that's why I voted for it. That and I'm probably heading there, so I'm pro-W&M.

Interested in government employment, at any level. Not interested in PD.Blindmelon wrote:Any idea of what kind of PI you want to do? Fed gov/PD, etc.?
Equal Justice Works has 13% of W&M graduates going into government, compared with 7% from BU and 4% from Minn. When it comes to judicial clerkships, W&M 20%, BU 6%, Minn 16%. The numbers push me towards W&M, but I wonder how much of it is self-selection.

Self-selection probably a bit. But if you want fed gov work in DC take WM - great rep. for PI work and its cheaper than the others.
