IUB - UIUC - WUSTL
I have 120 at IUB, 90 at UIUC, and 60 at WUSTL. I'm from Michigan and would love to get a big/mid law job in the midwest when I graduate. I realize I will have to be near the top of my class at all three of these schools to get a good firm job. Out of what I have read I believe IUB has the worst big/mid law firm placement and doesn't place very well outside of Indiana. A basketball scholarship paid for my undergrad and I will be recieving some help during law school. Is their a big difference between UIUC and WUSTL? I am leaning torwords UIUC and have been waitlisted at U of M. I would like to hear people's opinions and if there is any reason I should consider WUSTL or IUB? Thanks for your help.

Im guessing I got a couple debt adverse people who voted IU and someone who is going to WUSTL who voted for their school.

Non-WUSTLer here voting for you to WUSTL
IUB will simply be 3 years of your life gone; your debt won't be too high but neither will your prospects.
FWIW I turned down the same amount of money at IUB and did not think twice about it.

You would be foolish to consider IUB or WashU in this situation.

Do think their is a big difference between UIUC and WUSTL in employment? From looking around here I feel like employment in St. Louis is the only real employment advantage WUSTL has over Illinois.

If the UIUC offer is close to a full ride, then yes.Aberzombie1892 wrote:You would be foolish to consider IUB or WashU in this situation.

Call WUSTL and negotiate scholarship.

I'd do this, but if they refuse take UIUC and don't look back. I think WashU disperses a little more and is a better bet for not-Chicago if all things are equal, but 30k isn't close to equal.PhoenicianMonk wrote:Call WUSTL and negotiate scholarship.
