George Mason vs. American vs. Campbell ($)
I would really appreciate it if I could get some help in making a decision on what school I should attend. Currently, I have been admitted into American University but with no scholarship so I would have to pay the full sticker price. I am on the waitlist at George Mason but I wanted to make clear that I am a Virginia resident so I would receive the in-state tuition rate if I got off the waitlist. Finally, Campbell University School of Law, which is a T3 school where I am also attending for my undergraduate education currently has offered me $69,000 in scholarship over three years if I maintain a B- average. My total tuition costs would be $10,000 per year for Campbell Law which is in Raleigh, NC. Please tell me which option I should take or if I should hold out for Mason. Thanks!

WHat will your total cost of attendance be over 3 years from GMU? The other two options are not good choice IMO.

GMU in-state is not a bad deal. I say hold out for that. please, for all that is good and right in the world, don't pay sticker to American.

Re: George Mason vs. American vs. Campbell ($)
I am really interested in government in regard to the local/state level and would like to work in this sector. It is not my goal to obtain some job in "biglaw" that bills well but works me 60+ hours per week. If I go to Campbell, I will have two years of law school paid which will allow me to afford to complete Campbell's MPA joint degree with NC State. If my goal is to become a city attorney or a city manager and get into politics, wouldn't I be better off choosing Campbell over my other choices?
