Few grads, even those from elite schools, are rollin' in dough!

Yeah, but its true. Not only are schools inflating their employment stats in reporting, they are misrepresenting potential earnings. This is fraud, plain and simple. These law school administrators are often themselves lawyers. I smell a massive class action lawsuit coming on behalf of duped students with high debt and no jobs, and it's not going to be pretty.

But it needs to happen.

Well, the buzz needs to be kept up, because law schools, the ABA, the LSAC, the rankings systems, namely USNWR, and even the testing companies are all part of the same big rip-off machine. They should all pay, but the lions share of the blame for this mess falls on the schools, the ABA and USNWR. I would love to see that magazine's publisher go into bankruptcy.

Will your 1000th post be as asinine and pointless as the first 999 you made?

All signs point to yes.

I used payscale in the past, very unrepresentative of my current profession's pay.

This is why the gold standard is actually a good idea, even though it sounds like it would catapult us into the dark ages, right?

Not to say that the conclusion is incorrect, but this study is garbage. For example, the UVA figure was based off only 13 graduates. Payscale used the same form of manipulative statistics to draw their conclusion as the one law schools themselves use.

TBF, I could've based that on any random sampling of TLS posts.

So the NLJ firms that report to the NALP lie about their figures?
