Cardozo vs. Ubalt
I got into Cardozo part-time (May program), for which I would be paying full tuition (which is an absolute boatload, plus pricey New York living expenses). I also got into University of Baltimore. I am from Baltimore and I got a scholarship (I'll be paying $10,000 a year).
I know Cardozo is a ton better ranking wise and has access to the NYC law market, but it's a lot of money, and everyone I talk to here in Baltimore tells me the alumni network is really strong for jobs, as long as you want to practice locally.
I invite all comments except the classic "retake" comment. I took the test 3 times, I'm just not that good at it. And don't tell me that's a barometer for how I'll do in law school because that's just not logical.

I agree with this:
I mean, keeping debts low is a good thing and you can find just about anything you want in Maryland. I'd rather be a UB grad looking for work in MD than a Cardozo grad looking in NYC.everyone I talk to here in Baltimore tells me the alumni network is really strong for jobs, as long as you want to practice locally.

have you visited NYC for longer than a few days? if you havent, i would recommend doing so. that way you can get a good idea about the costs and the lifestyle( especially if you stay away from tourist traps)
