Richmond w/ $$$ or George Mason sticker

Post by GentlemanJim » Wed Mar 23, 2011 7:02 am

Help me out TLS. Still waiting to hear on a couple top choices, but I need to put a deposit down somewhere. Want to stay in DC/VA/NC. Thoughts?

Should be noted that I have currently have a house in Georgetown, so that would cut down on expenses at GM.

Thanks for any help.

Should add that I have some money saved, so debt won't be HUGE. But going to Richmond with scholly is tempting. Pretty debt-averse. Just curious to hear some out of the blue opinions, with all things being equal.

what does $$$ mean career goals? If you own a house in Georgetown how debt averse can you be?

And here I was thinking people went to law school so they could afford a house in Georgetown. OP: why law school? Your two options are particularly terrible for staying in DC. If you're set on doing so, I would suggest looking at other career options or retaking the LSAT to try and get into GULC, or at least GWU with money.

Again, not my house - my parents. Can live there, however.

And I'm not 100% on DC, but would be happy with it.

GM @ sticker would be out of state sticker I'm guessing? If so, Richmond w/ $$$.
