GULC vs. Cornell?

Post by willreiter » Tue Mar 22, 2011 4:25 pm

Any help here? I don't necessarily want to live in either of these places so I'm a little torn as to which to choose. Based purely on location I suppose the edge would be to DC.

Honestly my most important criteria is ease (relatively) of getting the type of job I want after I graduate cause that's all any law students/attorneys have told me I should care about, though they haven't told me which is better.

Also, I'm on "hold" at columbia and still waiting to hear from NYU and both are my top two choices as I would like to remain in NYC. Cornell's deposit is due in 3 weeks though -- what do you guys think the play is?

You want to end up in NYC. This is easily Cornell.

Ask yourself: t15 or t13?

Also, this topic has been discussed extensively on TLS.

Cornell and Georgetown are peer schools.

Have you not seen USNWR? C is 13, and G is 14. This decision is easy.

Edit: But, seriously, if you want to talk to someone who actually made this decision, and will be working in NYC after school, PM me.
