Santa Clara (full ride) v. Columbia (Sticker)

Post by zizou0510 » Thu Mar 17, 2011 4:40 pm

I want LA mid-law/big-law. I live right down the street from Santa Clara, so I wouldn't have any debt.

In a location other than SV?

Did you apply to Hastings/Davis?

If these are the only two choices I think Columbia because getting any firm job from Santa Clara in the CA market right now is rough.

I'm only going to say this. Look at the top salaries by law school according to Forbes magazine. Santa Clara is ridiculous considering it's rank it makes bank.

Why is this even a question? Columbia for sure, but my question is, if Columbia picked you up why didn't Cal, or Hastings and UCLA with money? Something is fishy here.

^^

I can imagine a splitter getting C but not B (indeed, I hope to be such a splitter) but no UCLA/USC/Davis/Hastings? No other T14? Something is awfully strange
