UC/Tulane/UF/Iowa/Arizona/MSU/Utah/Tennessee
So far I'm deciding between:
Cincinnati 22.5k
Tulane 60k
Florida no money (yet?)
Iowa no money
Arizona 48k
Michigan State 80k
Utah 29k
or
Tennessee no money (yet?)
I'm also on Notre Dame and Vandy's waitlists.
I don't have much preference geographically, but I know I could be happy living in Ann Arbor or Nashville.
I'm leaning towards focusing on IP law.
I've also toyed with retaking and reapplying next year. What do y'all think? What schools are the best value at this point?

163, 3.5x, and a bunch of decent softs
I was consistently getting 163s on PTs, but I also only studied for about 5 hours a day, 6 days a week, for about 6 weeks, so I think I could at least squeeze out a couple more points.

Well MSU isn't in Ann Arbor.
I go to MSU now for my undergrad and I didn't even think of applying there. It's...shit.

Given this, I would retake if you think you can do better.buchy2009 wrote:163, 3.5x, and a bunch of decent softs

Also, you're not getting off Vandy's waitlist with those #s (or ND's in all likelihood).

Good job stacy. Actually, if you want to stay in Michigan and you have decent scholly, MSU is not a terrible choice, IMO. Anyhow, OP, take Utah or Iowa or reapply.

Well, I love MSU, I do...
But, I would not spend another 3 years here. The law school is one tiny building connected to a bus station and a parking garage. Not a big deal, but... No thanks.
I mean, I guess it's okay for staying in Michigan. But jobs in Michigan are virtually non existant anyway.

Yeah, I kind of figured Vandy was a soft reject... A big vandy donor wrote a vandy specific LOR for me, so they were probably being diplomatic.ATR wrote:buchy2009 wrote:I've also toyed with retaking and reapplying next year.Given this, I would retake if you think you can do better.buchy2009 wrote:163, 3.5x, and a bunch of decent softs

So why do you say you could be happy living in Ann Arbor when none of the schools on your list are in A2?buchy2009 wrote:even if I would have applied, I wouldn't have gotten in...alexb wrote:What school is in Ann Arbor? You don't have UMich on your list.

Oh, I get it now. I meant professionally, after school.fltanglab wrote:So why do you say you could be happy living in Ann Arbor when none of the schools on your list are in A2?buchy2009 wrote:even if I would have applied, I wouldn't have gotten in...alexb wrote:What school is in Ann Arbor?
