Tier 3 question

Post by CP2323 » Tue Mar 15, 2011 8:25 am

So I am probably going to attend Akron this coming fall. I was just wondering if the fact that they went from fully unranked last year to 127 this year indicate an increase in the program? Could they possibly be a tier 2 by the time I graduate?

last year tier 3 did not get ranked- they just put them in alphabetical order.
this year they started to put numbers in front of tier 3( so no one knows for sure if it went up or down)

You wont know how the program is "trending" for a few more years. Best bet would be to visit the school- talk to lawyers in he area and firms and see how they feel about the school and its grads- then go from there.

TCR is that it does not matter one way or another.. the job prospects will be the same whether they "trend" up or down

I visited and actually enjoyed the area quite a bit. It reminded me of upstate New York where I grew up.

The school seemed nice as well. I really liked the faculty.
