Wake $$ v. Ohio State $ v. George Mason/BC sticker
I was offered a nice scholarship by WF for 24,000 a year and 12,000 at Ohio State. However, I really like the DC area and think I might like to get into government work. Unfortunately I struck out with the higher ranked DC schools and George Mason is my best option in the DC area. I suppose the question comes down to is it worth paying sticker at George Mason to get a toe inside the DC area or would attending Wake or Ohio State not put me at that significant of a disadvantage? BC is the highest ranked school Ive gotten into so far but given my desire to work in the DC area and the sticker price tag I am hesitant there. What does everyone think I would appreciate any feedback.

nope, NJ. I understand VA is nearly impossible to get in-state residency as a student whereas Ohio it is doable so that also is a factor.Bumi wrote:Are you a Virginia resident?

Why not just go to the cheapest school and become a visiting student at GULC if you want to work in DC during the schoolyear?

None of these if you really want DC. OSU and Wake are strong in their regions though, if you can get over the location thing go to one of them.
