GW will still be insanely expensive even with the $105K, and GULC will be as well with $30K. GULC probably gets points for mobility, and may fare somewhat better in NYC and DC. Flip a coin.

This might help a bit:

GULC was #13, and GW was #22. So if you want NYC biglaw, GULC.

GULC, remember even with 105K you will still need to borrow a huge sum of money.

Odd are, you won't be headed to big law from either. Understand that upfront. Also understand that the percentages that go to big law are not only the top X% - i.e. if GULC places 35% in big law, that 35% is not the top 35%.dpk711 wrote:GULC, remember even with 105K you will still need to borrow a huge sum of money.
Be reasonable. However, it is your unearned money to burn so do what you think is best.

But that 35% is probably at least top half. I don't think many people from GULC below median get biglaw. Would love a sour laugh at stats to the contrary.Aberzombie1892 wrote:dpk711 wrote:Also understand that the percentages that go to big law are not only the top X% - i.e. if GULC places 35% in big law, that 35% is not the top 35%.
