IU, Illinois, or Wash U?
Just a little background on me: my main areas of interest right now tends towards International Human Rights or Public Interest, so I don't really plan on ever making huge amounts of money, plus I already have an M.A. degree's worth of debt, so money is a big issue. But so is a good education, student culture, and being able to get a job when I graduate.
I'm in the process of trying to negotiate some more money out of Illinois and Wash U, so maybe that'll make up my mind for me, but here's where I currently stand (out of state tuition rates all around although I am already in Bloomington so that's a bonus on moving expenses and difficulty)
Indiana University has offered me $120,000 over three years
University of Illinois: $90,000
Wash U: $75,000
So, where would you go and why?

Illinois. Lower COL and lower tuition and guaranteed no tuition increase (you'll hear about that soon) means a bigger difference than 15k. Also, their LRAP is better than WUSTL's from what I hear. Lastly, somehow their employment % were better ITE than WUSTL's pre-ITE, though I have no idea how that happened.

Thanks, the opinion on LRAP was particularly helpful as that will definitely be important. I wasn't all that impressed with IU's LRAP from what I've read it's basically just an assistance bridge. Anyone have any opinions on the cities (I live in Bloomington, so that I know) especially the ability to get around without a car?

Unless WUSTL matches UIUC, I'd say UIUC. Though if you are debt averse (which everyone should be, especially ITE), I think you should consider IUB strongly as well.

I'm confused. What do you mean by this?Hannibal wrote:Lastly, somehow their employment % were better ITE than WUSTL's pre-ITE, though I have no idea how that happened.

Does anyone think UIUC would come up a bit by sending in the IU letter?

I doubt UIUC considers IU a peer to them.
