As it says above, right now I'm between Chicago and BU. I want to do public interest law, although I wouldn't mind working with a firm for a few years before going into government work. Got a 35k a year scholarship to BU (almost a free ride). For the kind of government work I want to do I would need to go to a T14 school, but would it be stupid for me to give up a big scholly to BU?
UChicago: Really want to go to Chicago (haven't visited yet).
BU: Not in love with BU. Visited and didn't like the building (looks like its falling apart).
I might have to end up at BU but just wanted to know what people thought.

Tough choice. It depends if you are willing to go 180k in debt with loans, what kind of undergrad loans you took, etc. It's a very personal choice. I would say Chicago, but I honestly dont know what I would do in your position. I got a similar scholarship to BU, and am also considering Chicago, but I'm also considering other schools.

Could you see yourself living in Boston? If yes, then maybe go to BU.
You must have gotten into some lower T14s with money?
