Worst law school?
Wondering which school or schools people think are the worst? Can be in terms of job placement or reputation. Talking about accredited schools only.

OP to friend- "See man, I told you going to XYZ law school isn't a bad idea. It may be a TTT/TTTT, but at least it's not as bad as (insert school that gets mentioned the most in this thread).

Re: Worst law school?
Any of the California non-accredited schools (except Irvine which will likely end up somewhere in Tier 1)
Basicly any of the schools that send you the spam with info like "we have online classes, typically we charge as much as your in state public but we have $50 scholarships available and you qualify, and if you send us your money we'll put you in touch with a Nigerian prince who is looking to hire the mythical international lawyers, which is way better than any Big Law job or clerkship that none of our graduates have ever been offered or ever will be offered"

Re: Worst law school?
I actually disagree with this, several non-aba accredited CA schools are not only substantially cheaper then say Whittier/Thomas Jefferson/Golden Gate but also have higher bar passage rates then those schools.fogcue2 wrote:Any of the California non-accredited schools (except Irvine which will likely end up somewhere in Tier 1) "

Re: Worst law school?
It depends on what the student's goals are and where he's coming from. If I were a middle-aged housewife in Glendale whose last kid just started High School, I had an Associate Degree in English Literature, and my husband was seeing someone else (let's put my greying hair in big ugly curlers, just to complete the picture) and I had always wanted to be a lawyer, the best school for me might well be Glendale College of Law even though it isn't an ABA approved school. It's reasonably priced, offers a four year part-time program, doesn't require a bachelor degree for admission, and its students and graduates are treated by the California Bar authorities on an equal footing with students and graduates of ABA approved schools.
But if I were a hotshot youngster looking for a Big Law career or an academic appointment, I would gouge out people's eyes if necessary to get to Stanford.

Ave Maria
There 100% bar pass rate is based on 1 student who took the bar.
