Boston College or Fordham?
I am a BC undergrad so I am looking for some unbiased opinions. I would love to work in either Boston or NYC (Is that what it comes down to?). I still do not know about $$$$ at either, so do not consider it.

If the money is equal, I would choose BC. The market is less saturated and you have ties to Boston which should help you quite a bit.

I'd go to BC, bit more national. You could still work in NY if you do well. With Fordham you're stuck in NY forever. (And believe me, being stuck in NY sucks)

BC - better biglaw placement statistics, lower cost of living during attendance, more national name, etc. What others have echoed.

Its tough, when all is said and done I would probably choose BC though. Is BU in the equation by any chance?

BC may have a slight edge in biglaw placement (I think it does), but it is so small that a case could be made for either.
Since you have ties to Boston, either school will get you Boston or NYC. I'd take BC because I believe they have a job fair specifically for NYC whereas Fordham does not have a job fair for Boston (someone who goes to these schools please correct me if I'm wrong).
As for you, I'd say you should choose based on cost and where you'd like to go to school. Placement power is probably equal enough that they are comparable schools, though if you do want an absolute small advantage, I guess take BC.

When you add clerkship stats into the picture, Fordham isn't really a comparable option at the same cost.

NLJ250 + Clerkships:
BC - 37.8%
Fordham - 35.3%
That seems pretty damn comparable to me.

I chose BC over Fordham. Better overall options and its much cheaper (assuming this is a consideration for you).

I don't think either of these schools do too well as far as clerkships go. One thing I think needs to be considered is that BC is the #1 school that has most of its graduates take the bar in Massachusetts (Harvard and BU are NY). Therefore they would seem to have an advantage in Boston that Fordham, being behind basically the entire T14 other than maybe Berkeley (Chicago/NU?) in NY placement, doesn't have.

BC FTW. Boston is much less saturated and you could eventually move to NYC down the line.

Thanks for all of you opinions...I guess my leaning towards BC is not completely due to my bias...If anyone else can keep helping...its greatly appreciated
