Re: UG Debtors Club
SO and I both have a combined 150K+ UG debt.
Cost is definitely a factor but since I can't move around too much (SO just got a job in xcity so must a) get into one of the schools there and b) grab as much $$ as possible from them)
Would not be willing to get more than 130K in debt for LS.
The schools in xcity cost about 70K/year at sticker (including col).

Re: UG Debtors Club
the title of this thread should be "UG Debtors Prison"
I actually got paid to go to my first two years of UG I'll graduate with about 15k, nothing serious

I'm joining this club! The amount of UG debt I will have is significant for me, but will most likely be around 20% of debt I have coming out of LS...

Keep in mind your UG debt will grow while interest builds in law school.

Haha, thanks informative.
But true, it is a good point, and a problem.

Rates are already lower than any other installment loan. Figure in the inflation it really isn't much.Law Sauce wrote:Informative wrote:Keep in mind your UG debt will grow while interest builds in law school.

Subsidized don't incur interest (as long as you are enrolled halftime + 9 month grace period). Unsubsidized is 6.8%.The Stig wrote:do you know by about how much it will?
