Why is ASU ranked better than the U of A?
This may be a dumb question. Why is ASU ranked higher than U of A this year?

To illustrate the futility of relying on the rankings?

Well, the compilation of the measurements for ASU > U of A when scaled to the importance of the ranking formula.

I'm not sure what you mean? sorry tired right now. Just curious because ASU jumped a lot. To me, it still seems like U of A is better, but maybe that's because I don't really want to go to Phoenix.bergg007 wrote:mala2 wrote:This may be a dumb question. yeah I guess it doesn't really matter, they're about the same. I got a 166 and hope to get into both, but I'd rather go to the U of A. I was just wondering if ASU had suddenly developed awesome job placement or something that made it jump #18 spotsAreJay711 wrote:Well, the compilation of the measurements for ASU > U of A when scaled to the importance of the ranking formula.

I don't know what it was but honestly I don't think it matters. It could have been anything: a large donation, the legislature approving a larger budget, a 1 point LSAT median increase (which depending on the nature of the increase and the 25th and 75th might not mean anything) or anything. Not being from the area, U of A very well might even be more highly regarded regionally. You should go to the one that you like best and you think is the best career move for you (and hopefully with a scholarship).mala2 wrote:yeah I guess it doesn't really matter, they're about the same.
