Differences between Boston College and Boston University?
I know the "old guard" considers BC to be a better school but things are changing. What exactly is the difference between the schools (besides several miles)?

When I went to tour both schools, students, faculty and staff were much nicer at BC. That isn't to say BU is full of jerks - far from it; just that BC people were friendlier.

The impression that I get: It's like comparing UCLA and USC; they are both awesome in reputation, though which is better depends on who you ask.

From what I've gathered, both place equally well in Boston, but BU has a slight national edge.
All things being equal, the main differences between these schools come down to...
Urban vs. Suburban
Secular vs. Jesuit

The TLS article on BU says they have surprisingly good placement statistics in CA.

Dude. You're not familiar with the term "Jesu-what?" ?HeavenWood wrote:Srsly?NZA wrote: Jesu-what?
As in, "Say what?"
