University of Toledo grading curve
I received a full scholarship at the University of Toledo and was just wondering if there are any alumni or current students who know how the grading curve is there. I think I have to maintain a 3.3, but that means nothing.....especially with the horror stories I am reading on this site about how lower ranked schools tend to have terribly low curves. Thanks for your time.

I heard Toledo stacks sections. Not positive if its true, but definitely worth looking into before you commit.
Sorry that is not what you are looking for, but I thought you should know.

There's a list of law school grading curves on wikipedia, but Toledo isn't there. I'd say give them a call and ask what your approximate class rank would have to be to maintain a 3.3. Or maybe even try to ask some students at the school.

If you must attend a 3rd tier school in Ohio, I would go w/ Akron. If you lose your scholarship, the tuition is still dirt cheap.

At least top 25%, but possibly higher (top 10%).

I believe this is the site to look up the curves of various schools, based off of graduation, don't know if things change:Phatslice wrote:I received a full scholarship at the University of Toledo and was just wondering if there are any alumni or current students who know how the grading curve is there. From the looks of it 3.3 looks like a fairly stringent scholarship restriction and it appears that you could dip slightly below top 1/3. Another poster cited Akron as a possibility but they require a top 15% I believe. Really try and get Toledo to budge on that stipulation because that is fairly strict.

Your question is essentially moot. It doesn't matter if it is 2.0, 2.5, 6.8, or 3.9. You will have to keep your GPA in the top 1/4 or top 1/3 or whatever that is, as compared against all students in your class.
