Just blanket everything. You're at/above most 75th percentile GPA's and above a lot of 25th percentile LSATs for the T14, so if money isn't a big issue, just go ahead and start shooting out apps.Zeile wrote:UCLA, Vandy, Cornell, BU, etc.. Anywhere else?
I would imagine you gott fee waivers from Northwestern, Duke, maybe even Penn or UMich? Plus a whole lot fee waivers from T15-T30s (WUSTL, W&M, etc.). Definitely would send to the fee waiver schools, since it costs you nothing.
I have a lower LSAT than you (164), and a slightly better GPA (3.97), and I'm applying at about 20 schools, from Harvard to WUSTL to William and Mary... give it a shot!

Stanford seems like a good idea, maybe a reach but it's worth a shot
send apps everywhere ASAP you'll do well so long as your LSAT is at or above the median, or even the 25%ile

Is there any chance at getting any money at UCLA or Vandy with these numbers? O rhsould I just be thankful to get in?

I don't think I could do South Bend. Though I guess I could use any money they give me to get more out of other schools. Is that alone worth the application fee?QandAphorism wrote:No, I joke. You are very likely in at Cornell so just throw apps out there and see what you get. It isn't like you are going to fall out of the t14 unless you choose too.

Prob not... you'd have to write a "why ND" essay as well. If you're capable of 167 then (with more intensive prep) you'd probably be capable of 172+. I'd study more, possibly even scrap this cycle, and go for gold.Zeile wrote:I don't think I could do South Bend. Though I guess I could use any money they give me to get more out of other schools. Get your apps in by Christmas, and you will be considered "on time." You will lose that early edge, but you won't be seriously hurt, either.
Carpet-bomb the lower half of the T14. If you're feeling gutsy and don't mind the app fee, try for Stanford as well. They're unlikely to take you, but you're not a straight auto-reject.
BU should be fine as a safety, you are likely in at UCLA, and you have a shot at Vandy.
