Other than speaking with current lawyers, what is the best way to research the legal field? I see so many employment stats, salary stats, and explanations of the career on here, so what sites are there to find this information?
Thanks

seriously though Vault.com has some insight, but go talk to people in the profession.

Abovethelaw.com is probably one of the best legal blogs out there. It's got a lot of blunt info that can be very useful. Also, if you click on the careers tab it'll show you profiles of the top firms and give you an idea of what it'll be like to work at them. Besides law school research, actually getting to know the possible career options you have is really important to familiarize yourself with before you decide on the school.
