Hi everyone, this is my first time posting but you all seem so helpful that I thought I'd register and post...
I plan on applying to 10 schools and need help deciding which ones to apply to. So far, my definite ones are:
Harvard
Columbia
Georgetown
Berkeley
NYU
Stanford
Chicago
For the last three spots, I can't decide between:
Penn/Northwestern
Cornell/UCLA
GW/BU
Do you have any advice on which of the three pairs I should go to?
Stats: 3.5 (or 3.6 not sure about LSAC GPA)/173 from undergrad at Duke.
Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

If you're going to apply to exactly 10 schools:
Columbia
Chicago
NYU
Penn
Mich
UVA
Duke
Cornell
GULC
uh... UCLA?

hmm..if I want a shot at getting into harvard/stanford, should i retake the lsat? my advisor told me that it wouldn't matter unless i scored significantly (5 points or more) better...is this true?

I think it would matter less if it is not 5 points higher but if you get a 177 that would put you over the 75% which would make a difference. However with that gpa, it will still be a very slim shot.

That GPA is most likely gonna keep you out of HYS regardless of LSAT score. A retake could significantly improve your chances (and scholarship prospects) at CCN, though.foodie89 wrote:hmm..if I want a shot at getting into harvard/stanford, should i retake the lsat? my advisor told me that it wouldn't matter unless i scored significantly (5 points or more) better...is this true?
