Would these options hurt NYC placement?

Post by shanemahsa » Fri Oct 29, 2010 9:57 pm

1) If a student transfers from CLS or NYU to H or Y, would that hurt OCI options for NYC placement? E.g. would firms look down on the fact that you self-selected out of NYC for school or the fact that you are competing with non-transfer students?

2) If a student participates in a study-abroad dual-degree program such as the ones below, would spending 3L or 3L+1 year abroad negatively affect placement since he/she would be out of the country for their last year(s) of school?

Sorry this is poorly written, I am exhausted.

This is stupid because

1) Transferring from CCN to HYS is probably not a great idea. You would give up LR/awesome grades which can already get you a job.

2) LLM is probably worthless.
