Columbia and NYU
Qualitatively, do the Admission Committees at NYU and Columbia look for similar students?

Re: Columbia and NYU
Columbia v. NYU
GPA
25%ile = 3.51 v. 3.58
Median = 3.7 v. 3.75
75%ile = 3.82 v. 3.89
LSAT
25%ile = 169 v. 168
Median = 172 v.171
75%ile = 174 v. 172
So umm, yeah. They're pretty similar.

Re: Columbia and NYU
Thank you.
The numbers are definitely similar. I have read, NYU has more of a public interest bent, whereas Columbia does seem to emphasize public interest as an area of interest of its applicants.

NYU is better from what I've heard, but both are leaders on the East Coast for public interest.
