Please reconsider. A law degree is essentially a worthless liberal arts graduate degree.

This is what you chose to show people to convince them to not go to law school? THIS is what you chose to try to change people's minds with? Terrible.

Notwithstanding the humor in these, there is a lot of truth here. Obviously, you should watch the Law School Carol.Kobe_Teeth wrote:NoJob wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAMBY-FU ... re=related

How about instead of me watching worthless Youtube videos, you just go ahead and kill self?
Also, since when did simply posting a Youtube video become a replacement for writing down a complete thought or argument? Doing that immediately makes your post essentially worthless.

That had all the rhetorical dexterity of an Ayn Rand novel.

LOL, who's bored enough to make this shit.
I know what I'll do when my law school degree fails to get me a job- I'll use my media arts background to make youtube videos warning others of the dangers of law school. However, mine will be cooler and will contain light saber fights and cartoon sex scenes. Also, my characters wont talk so fucking slow and will have either British or Aussie accents.
I'm actually kind of excited to fail in life now.

New Zealand. Confuse the hell out of people who can't quite pinpoint the accent.

Well... one 1 side of the coin: the videos bode well for us who are already in LS (kind of). If it can convince just a few people not to pursue a J.D. then the market is that less saturated. The other side of the coin: Is it effective? Hardly. Are those that make the videos social midgets that became bitter by their failures, lack of networking, and less than steller grades? Absolutely.
Is there some truth to the videos? Yea... I think so, however they're grossly exaggerated.
Pay it no mind.
ps. I do not have spellcheck.

Completely agree, Soap. I'm sure the law market has been affected by the recession, but in no way can it be the no man's land that these videos make it out to be. NoJob, I'm curious to know what your situation is and why you continue to be so critical of law school, lawyers, and the entire legal profession. Where did the vendetta come from?
