Hawaii Summer Law Program - Anyone?

Post by bleedcubbieblue » Thu Jul 08, 2010 12:09 am

What's the scoop? I think this might be an awesome way to spend my summer after 1L. Any thoughts?

If you can't get a job then it is OK. As a Hawaii resident I'd be wary of anything that school offers. I am just an ignorant 0L but I'd bet you'd be better of doing volunteer work at your local legal clinic, as far as potential employers are concerned.

Summer law programs look like crap on your resume.

A summer law program at Hawaii just looks like a vacation on your resume.

That said, the economy is shit and you probably aren't going to get a job through traditional means anyway. So, if you want to take a vacation in Hawaii go for it. Just realize that it is making you slightly more unemployable than the average desperate non-T20 student.
