NEED HELP DEFERRING! Sample Letter? Forum

Hey all,

Can anyone lend me some advice on deferring school for a year? I have some personal and financial stuff I need to take care of before starting school. I just need a frame of reference for how to phrase these types of requests.

If anyone has any examples of letters that they've used that they don't mind PMing me, that would be super! Really need a helping hand here.
