Fordham or Washington and Lee ($)
Here's the situation sports fans. Washington and Lee with 5,500 or Fordham sans merit aid. I visited W&L and loved it enough to deposit the first time around. News came shortly thereafter that Fordham was accepting me into their class. My interests are mainly constitutional law and national security law. Is this choice, in the final calculus a matter of location. I prefer the setting of W&L, but Fordham's location is much closer to my family roots. Would not mind living and working in NY, but would like my degree to reach to D.C.
All things considered, what say you?

To begin, W&L used to be ranked higher. Recently they've been ranked the same.
Fordham certainly has better lay prestige.
Fordham is better for the northeast.
W&L is better for the southeast, (AKA DC).
Family is important, but you definitely want to go to a school where you'll be the most comfortable, therefore the most likely to succeed.
You also should consider that the col in lexington is FAR less that NYC.
I'd probably pick W&L, given you DC career goals, the money (including col), and your attraction to the campus.
Good luck!

W&L, especially since it doesn't seem like you really want to work in New York.

Lay prestige doesn't really mean jack.
W&L because you want DC.
