Thoughts on Penn Law?
How prestigious is it? What do you like about it? How much does ED help?

I mean it is IVY and a T10 school. So very prestigious. What are your numbers? If its your number one choice and your numbers are not over median apply ED. If you have a shot at HYS or columbia, dont

I've heard the facilities are pretty bad (but that should only be a minor factor in choosing a school). I've also heard the job opportunities suck, which I have a hard time believing as it's an Ivy League T-10.

As a Penn grad, I can promise you that the job opportunities do not suck. I ended up with a COA clerkship and a V10 job offer. I had no L. Rev., and graduated cum laude (top 40%) and I certainly wasn't the only one. Further, Penn is really ramping up its facilities. However, the law school is already one of the most beautiful that I have seen, so I don't know where you heard that the facilities are poor.chitown825 wrote:I've heard the facilities are pretty bad (but that should only be a minor factor in choosing a school). Penn sounds like a great school, but Philly has never appealed to me when I've visited in the past. How's the area around the law school?
