Getting waitlisted everywhere...is this happening to every1?

Post by nji2 » Mon Apr 26, 2010 5:44 pm

I'm 4/4 for getting on the waiting list-- Penn State, St. John's, Richmond, Chicago Loyola--

Are these schools waitlisting everyone?
I was pretty happy with the first couple... but now I'm wondering if schools are just putting everyone who isn't admitted on these lists.

I have a 155 and 3.3 at an ivy with excellent leadership, and I would like to know the stats of people getting in, those being put on the wait list, and those being rejected.

Thank you

For stats, +1 on law school numbers. But it's particularly frequent this year, considering the massive number of applicants for the class of 2013 (with the terrible 2009 job market). I pretty much had 3.1, 169 (at Williams College) and got waitlisted at pretty much all Top 20 schools (except GW, UIUC, and Minnesota). I hope you have been turning out letters of continuing interest. Best of luck.
