So who gave up the T14?
And what did you give it up for?
I've put down multiple deposits, so I'm not sure where I'll end up yet, but there's a good chance I'll be passing on my T14 acceptances for a slightly lower-ranked school (the UT/UCLA/Vandy tier). It just feels like a better fit.

I didn't even bother applying to the T14 with a 171/3.3 because I am so debt-averse.

I would've been at Vandy if not for Duke's really kick-ass scholarship offer. Coming into the cycle I was actually pretty sure I'd end up at Vandy.

Me! I gave up two T14 acceptances with $$ for a full ride at a T20. It was right for me. I was torn when I made my decision but just knowing that my debt is going to so much less is a huge relief to me. I feel great and am excited about my decision.

Depends. Are you getting any money from a T14? I didn't pass up on T14, but biggest reason I didn't was because I got just enough $ to make it worth IMO.

This guy looks like he's about to give up Stanford for a full ride at UCLA.
