Uchicago v Columbia

Post by liljerry » Thu Apr 15, 2010 12:39 am

Suprised to not find any recent threads comparing. Anyways 50k at uchicago. 20k at Columbia. Not sure what I want to do after, possibly ip. Main concern is that if I ever quit biglaw the Columbia name would be much better than uchicago.

Thoughts?

I was listening to the radio the other day and someone said that Obama was a professor at Harvard. The co-host promptly corrected him by informing him he taught law at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Its so funny...fucking everyone know goddam DePaul but you say UChicago and they haven't a clue...stupid south side! No respect!

Oh yea...my point...unless you like Chicago more than New York...go to Columbia.

Chicago is more akin to Yale & Stanford while Columbia rests with Northwestern, Harvard & Penn. Hopefully that helps.
