Loyola-Chicago, Kent, Chapman, or DePaul? Forum

I have narrowed my decision to these four schools. I am tempted to scratch DePaul off the list due to the fact that they were tied with Loyola last year and are now 20 spots behind, but I just wanted to get opinions. Assume no monetary issues for purpose of just picking a school based on the school itself. I love Chicago but wouldn't be opposed to CA either. I am thinking IP but the certificate at Chapman in entertainment law intrigues me. Thanks for your input.

Depends on where you want to practice, looks like you're currently leaning toward Chicago area?

Otherwise schools are virtually the same

Thanks for the quick input so far. Chapman is on my radar because it seems like a young school that is rising fast in a pretty competitive area in the country, and also because I have spent my life in Chicago and Boston. This winter in New England has pushed me to consider warmer climates for a change. I also know someone who went to Chapman for undergrad and absolutely loved it.

There's no reason to choose DePaul, since you have 2 better options. Chapman should also be scratched unless you're dead set on living in SoCal. Since you're leaning toward IP, the correct answer is Kent, but Loyola Chicago wouldn't be a bad choice either.

What are the total costs of all the schools? I would say go to the cheapest one, maybe spend a little more on Kent because its somewhat well respected for Chicago IP.

Since you said to assume no monetary issues for the purpose of picking a school, I would go with Kent over Loyola for IP. It's a great school with a great IP program and facility.
