Hey All,
I received a few scholarship letters from law schools which increased my aid package.
I am interested in corporate law. I currently work in copyright law for a large NY corporation.
Looking at 3 schools:
Ohio State University w $25,500 total + potential instate
University of Connecticut w/ $25000 total + potential instate and
Villanova University with $45,000 total.
CoL and additional expenses make all of these schools about equal in cost (135 thousand over 3 years.)
Locations I am considering living in (by preference): Boston/New England > DC > Philadelphia > Chicago > Ohio.
Ohio has the strongest placement and clerkship opportunities out of the three. I'm not happy with the idea of living in Ohio after law school and would aim to live elsewhere: DC or Chicago.
UConn is closest to the area I love (Massachusetts). I am concerned that the school is not strong enough with placement.
Villanova has the best campus, facilities, and most interesting class offerings out of the 3. The percentage of students employed 9 months after graduating (90.9) could be higher.
Please fill me in on which one is best for me and why. Thank you.

Re: Three Choices: crunch time
how about instead of saying schoalrship offers and "in-state,"
you actually tell us how much each would cost.

Re: Three Choices: crunch time
Thank you for your replies.
The costs come out to about 135 thousand over three years for each school. I included a range because, depending on my lifestyle and personal choices, it can (very likely) go lower or perhaps higher.
Polls can often be misleading but sure I'll make a poll.
Cheers,
