Where would you go?

Post by tejota88 » Fri Apr 02, 2010 6:05 pm

Considering job opportunities, quality of life, and reputation, which would you attend out of the following?

Quinnipiac
Miami
Richmond
Pace
Syracuse

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

Richmond is in the state capital of VA and better schools in VA likely funnel a large percentage of their grads to DC. I don't know much about the law school, but I do know that U Richmond has a good regional rep. below NoVa.

Miami. The sunshine... 8)

OKay, my tax teacher went to university of Miami, and she got her LLM from a school I can't remember. She's doing very well right now. As you can see, my sample is extremely small. :)

I vote Miami btw. I know quite a few Miami grads that are doing well and enjoyed the school. However, I told my lawyer (Miami grad) about going to law school and becoming a lawyer and he said "I wouldn't if I were you" so think hard. I explained to him that I wasn't trying to get into personal injury and insurance so he understood a bit. Still I think it is alarming. Career prospects out of lower ranked schools right now is just bad unless you can be top of the class, AND carry little debt.

Prolly Miami because I hate the cold. If not Miami then I'd probably go to Richmond.

Miami, but if you're paying sticker, definitely not. With scholarship, mediocre investment, without, terrible and horrific investment. Keep in mind it's the third best school in FL, which got destroyed ITE.
