BC ($) v. Emory ($)
BC ($45,000) v. Emory ($54,000)
No stipulations on either of the scholly's. I don't think I want to do biglaw, and I definitely don't have any idea where I want to practice (but probably not the South). Mostly I guess I just the school that will open the most doors?

If they cost about the same, and you don't want to practice in the South, then don't pick the one in the South. Go to BC. I mention Emory to people here up North and no one knows what that is. Yet you mention BC, and everyone does (though they tend to get BU and BC mixed up from time to time unless they are from New England).lgreenbe wrote:BC ($45,000) v. Emory ($54,000)

BC has much better biglaw placement than Emory.

Both mostly place into their respective regions. BC may be better for biglaw, but it'll be more expensive. Emory should still place well across the southeast and up to DC.

good question? I could see practicing almost anywhere..... most likely mountain west or pacific northwest, but like i said, i don't want ot be tied to anything. I got in to CU, but if I decided I didnt want to practice here it wouldnt help me much. Hence why BC and Emory are the two I'm deciding between.

Just depends upon where you want those doors opened.
