ANY ADVICE?

Post by azb » Wed Mar 31, 2010 11:54 am

I have already posted a discussion asking for advice and opinions and I got only one reply. But I am not sure whether I am making the correct decision after reading some posts here (specially the discussion about GMU stats regarding recent gradates). The deadline for deposit for some schools I have got into is April 1st.

I am one of those reverse splitters; I got into some of the schools I have applied and have been waitlisted for the rest of the applications I sent.

Accepted: GMU (in-state), AU, catholic, Howard, Loyola LA, San Francisco, Santa Clara
Waitlisted: William and Mary, Washington and Lee, GWU, UC Hasting

I visited GMU and liked it and made my decision to go to GMU. But, the new released GMU stats does not seem very great. I am not sure where I am going to practice law in the future for some family reasons. I have heard the advice of some graduates who say go to a school where I want to practice law. But, my problem is that I am not sure where I am gonna end up in the future and GMU and AU are the only tier 1 schools that I have been accepted.
