I am inclined to stay in the Tristate area, though I have no issue with moving to NC and loved Wake's campus. Please explain why you picked what you did, especially if its temple v villanova. Thanks for the advice.

Temple. Same city, almost identical rank, cheaper.

Any opinion on the quality of the faculty between temple and villanova or if you think nova has better name recognition outside of PA/NJ?

You'd have to double check me, but I'm pretty sure nova has the best nlj250 out of pitt/pennstate/temple

Temple. Villanova does have a higher percetange of grads going to NLJ250, but only marginally different from Temple (1-2%). Can't see that issue alone as a reason to choose Nova over Temple esp when you're talking about little debt and very high ROI with a Temple degree, at least in the short term.
