I am not sure about which one as of now. I have connections/ an internship in the region I want to work through family and basically a secured job as long as a pass the bar, however I still want to go to a program that places better in the east north central region (midwest) or that is going up in the rankings. Santa Clara is iffy in the rankings and does not place well in the enc while Penn at least has a few percent and has been rising and everyone is speculating that Penn will continue this trend. What scares me about Penn is the 38% reporting for salary (insert wtf mate here). I would rather work out East then West if I had to so Penn would be the obvious choice there. I am still waiting on some schools from the ENC, but I want to put a deposit down and these are the two I am decided on as of now.
I have also been accepted to DePaul, but I really don't want to go there. I will be working in Chicago. I am waiting on IU, Wisc, Minn (WL), Iowa (WL), and OSU, and Case which is a top for me.
The deposits are coming up and its pissing me off that I will have to waste 500, more money down to the drain possibly.
Takers.... hahaha???

sounds like PSU is a pretty decent fit for you.

You've pretty much answered your own question. You won't be leaving the Bay Area, and more likely the South Bay Area/Silicon Valley, for years after graduating from SCU, in all likelihood. So for your purposes, it makes no sense to deposit there.
